COMPANY’S BUSINESS
RIPLEY’s business comprises cargo handling systems, customs clearance, stevedoring, transportation, mining, operation and maintenance of berth. The company has started iron ore exports since 2006. Business of the group includes fly ash exports and news publication.
RIPLEY’s business is mainly conducted at Haldia. The highlights of the business are given below :
- Handling & logistics at Haldia Port for various commodities (viz. steel, iron-ore, coal, coke, limestone, fertilizer, etc) : Around 11 million tons p.a.
- Excavation & transportation of coal & over-burden : Around 11 million tons p.a.
- Iron-ore exports : Around 1.5 lakh tons p.a.
